The movie is the directorial venture of Sarath who had earlier worked as associate director for the movies Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa 2. Ko 2 is his first movie as a director. Bobby Simha after appearing in the movie Aviyal is now coming up with a Tamil Political thriller movie ko2. The movie had been hit the big screens today. It is learned that the story line was taken with the inspiration of Tollywood movie Prathinidhi in which Nara Rohit played the main lead. The movie Ko2 is directed by Sarath and this is the first movie for Sarath as a director. He worked as associate director for the movies Billa 2 and Unnaipol Oruvan.
